LUSH!

For a few weeks I was going on and on about how I wanted to pop into Lush and buy some new products and see if they have Snow Fairy and Christmas bath bombs in yet.
After a long day at work, I came home to a bag full of Lush products off Ryan. Such a lucky lady :) I was sooo excited to try them.

Snow fairy :

So let's start with snow fairy, a very popular product in lush. I personally love this, the colour, the smell, the packaging! First of all the scent, it is a very sweet scent. It describes as candy floss on the packaging, I think it has a slight smell of bubblegum in it too. As I love sweet smells I love this soo much, I literally just open it sometimes to smell it, can't get enough. Personally after a shower I like the scent to stay on my skin and will be able to smell it after I get out, with snow fairy once I am out the shower I can't really smell it on myself. To get a second opinion I asked Ryan to smell me after a shower (random I know 😂) and he said he could smell it on me so I am unsure about this. 

Overall I would purchase this again, and I do love it due to the scent! 

Fairy Dust:

Again this product smells amazing, exactly the same as snow fairy but in dust form. Candy floss/bubblegum scent.  Packaging is eye catching. It is a nice size so you can maybe carry it in your bag if you wanted to, on a night out or daytime. 

Can use on your skin or even in your hair, goes on nicely into your skin. The only thing I don't like about fairy dust is that it is too glittery, has too many sparkles for my taste. 

Magic Wand:

Another product from the snow fairy range, has the same scent. Run this under the tap whilst running your bath, or swirl it around in your bath for a pink, candy scented, bubble bath. It is also a little glittery, it is a subtle amount so you don't come out like a shining star, Can use this over and over again which I love about it, as after using a bath bomb it is disheartening that it has all gone in one bath. 

Father Christmas:

So a bath bomb shaped as the face of father Christmas which smells amazing, what more can you want from a bath bomb. When I put it in my bath it let out a pastel pink colour, I then realized it is green on the inside, which turned the whole bath a holly green colour. The scent reminds me of snow fairy, as you can tell I love the snow fairy scent LOL. I would defiantly recommend treating yourself to this.

Sakura:

So this is my all year round favorite bath bomb! It is a very simple and non fancy bath bomb, but the scent isn't like one I have smelt before, cherry flowers. It isn't too strong, but lasts on the skin so you can smell it even out of the bath. It moisturizes the skin, so leaves you feeling soft. If you are after something that looks good, changes the bath colour, or glittery I would not recommend. This is a relaxing, beautiful scented bomb.

I am defiantly heading into Lush soon to grab some of the Christmas edition products!

Current Top Three Hairsprays

#No. 3

VO5 - Firm Hold - Weather Resistant

I picked up this product in my local store as my current one at the time was not in stock. The eye catching girly pink bottle caught my eye, I have never tried VO5 before so I thought I'd give it a go as it is only £2.59. 

I have not used often lately as I have other favorites, but I am glad I found this. You don't have to apply loads to your hair for it to hold. It gives non sticky texture and doesn't look greasy, as some hairsprays give a hard texture and a greasy look. The smell isn't over powering. It does have some sort of weather resistant to it, but I recommend going for a stronger hold e.g. the ultimate hold. As I don't think the firm hold gives a strong enough hold for me. 

Positives :

- Cheap Price

- Non Sticky

- Eye Catching Bottle

- Weather Resistant

Negatives :

-Doesn't Give The Strong Hold I'm After

Tresemme - Salon Finish - Freeze Hold

This was my go to hairspray for over a year. It is BRILLIANT. I recommend stocking up on these when you find them on deal. The original price can range from £5-£6, but I find it on deals quite often from £2.50-£3.59 for the 500ml bottle.

This gives an amazing hold, can hold big backcombed hair well. I know a lot of people using it for the big scene hair, and stays all day. Again with hairspray it is another non sticky if you don't apply loads in one area. You do need to apply more under roots for big hair. Hold curls well, but I like to reapply mid day if I can so they last longer.

-Strong Hold

-Great For All Styles

Negatives:

-Can Be Pricey When Not On Deal

Schwarzkopf- Got 2 B - 2 Sexy Big Volume

I found this whilst looking around at the drugstore and it caught my eye. This is a new product from Got 2 B. I brought this for £2.59 on deal, which is brilliant for the product itself. I have also never used Got 2B before. 

First thing you notice when you use this is the smell, it is the best smelling hairspray I have ever used! It has a fruity, delightful smell. This hairspray is made for big volume hair styles, which I have daily, so this is perfect for me. It holds brilliantly, best hold from a hairspray aswell. My hair stayed in place for over 12 hours, on a windy day. Which I was very pleased about. It gives me fuller, thicker looking hair, and for someone with very thin flat hair feels like magic. I will defiantly be trying more of Schwarzkopf's products. This is not a non sticky product, but it isn't sticky. It is in the middle, if that makes any sense at all. But it gives a great hold, smells amazing and easy hold bottle what more do we need?

- Strong Hold

- Amazing Smell

-Gives Fuller Looking Hair

Negatives:

-None. 

I would recommend all three of these hairsprays, they are all amazing but Got2B is my winning, number 1, got to hair spray.

Christmas 2014

Christmas 2014 has been my best Christmas ever! I have been spoilt so much. I am sooo lucky to have the most amazing people around me, my boyfriend,  my family and my friends. It was nice to see and spend time with everyone. This year me and Ryan also spent our first Christmas actually together, had the house to ourselves. It was soo lovely to wake up and open our presents together. Ryan made us a lovely full English breakfast, which was well needed. Then headed out to see our families.

I am sooo lucky, to be were I am and have the people I do have around me. 2014 has been my greatest year. I have moved up to supervisor with alot more responsibilities in my job, an amazing suprise valentines, my 21st birthday, mine and Ryan's 6 years of being together, I went on my first ever holiday abroad, brought a new car, which is my dream, a convertible car!!!  Throughout the year I made really good friends and lost some. But everything happens for a reason and I want to focus on the positive!  

I can't wait to see what 2015 brings me...

Are They True To You?

Sometimes we are too blind to see the other side to the people closest to us. 

If your friend is gossiping about others to you, who is to say she isn't talking about you to others. Be careful who you trust, us as human it is natural for us to have different personalities. It is also natural that we gossip, we don't do it to hurt others, we do it because we are humans.
